IT Deployment Technician – Windows 10 to 11 Migration

Hershey, PA

Full-Time (40 hours/week), 6-Month Project

Join our deployment team for a high-impact Windows 10 to Windows 11 migration project in Hershey, PA. We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused IT Deployment Technician / Hardware Specialist to support end-user device upgrades across the organization. This full-time, 6-month role is ideal for a technician with strong hardware and imaging experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site migration of end-user devices from Windows 10 to Windows 11, including OS upgrades and full device replacements as needed
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices, scanners, printers, and other peripherals
  • Participate in hardware deployments, device refreshes, and user workstation upgrades
  • Provide on-site technical support and warranty repairs as required
  • Collaborate with project leads to ensure migration schedules and documentation are maintained
  • Ensure consistent and accurate use of imaging tools, deployment software, and asset tracking systems
  • Apply basic networking and connectivity troubleshooting as needed during the migration process

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience supporting Windows OS upgrades and hardware deployments in a corporate environment
  • Solid understanding of Windows 10 and Windows 11, including imaging, user data migration, and configuration
  • Strong hands-on skills in hardware setup, troubleshooting, and peripheral installation
  • Familiarity with deployment tools such as Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), SCCM, or similar
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Self-directed, able to manage time effectively in a fast-paced, structured environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on large-scale Windows 10/11 upgrade or deployment projects
  • A+ or other relevant IT certifications
  • Ability to lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 lbs.)
