Desktop Support Technician

Glendale, CA (Onsite, Full-Time)

Overview

Reveleer is seeking a self-directed Desktop Support Technician with a passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving to join our IT team in Glendale, California. This role will provide hands-on and remote technical support to our 550+ hybrid workforce, ensuring seamless operations in a HIPAA-regulated environment. With exposure to a wide range of technologies, including a Hybrid Active Directory transitioning to full Entra by the end of 2025, Microsoft 365, and SaaS applications, this position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line technical support for employees in the Glendale office and remotely, addressing hardware, software, and application issues for PCs and MacBooks.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues related to desktops, printers, and network connectivity, escalating complex issues to senior IT staff as needed.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint) and Microsoft Identity Management (Hybrid Active Directory/Entra), including user account creation and security permissions.
  • Manage and resolve service requests via ITSM platforms (e.g., FreshService), ensuring thorough documentation and timely resolution.
  • Deploy, maintain, and inventory technology assets, including laptops and peripherals, for onboarding new employees and staff relocations.
  • Utilize Microsoft Intune for Mobile Device Management to configure and secure devices.
  • Install and troubleshoot network printers and assist with corporate equipment upkeep (e.g., conference rooms).
  • Collaborate with departmental management and workplace coordinators for in-office technology needs.
  • Provide user training on hardware, software, and SaaS applications, including Microsoft 365 and communication tools like Teams.
  • Contribute to IT infrastructure maintenance and process improvements in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in desktop support or a similar IT technical support role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS systems, hardware troubleshooting, and basic network fundamentals.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint) and Microsoft Identity Management (Active Directory/Entra).
  • Experience with MDM platforms, preferably Microsoft Intune.
  • Familiarity with ITSM platforms (e.g., FreshService, Jira Service Management) for ticketing and documentation.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, providing exceptional customer service to a hybrid workforce.
  • Experience in a HIPAA-regulated or highly regulated industry is a significant plus.
  • Interest in learning new technologies and contributing to team initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate).
  • Exposure to SaaS-based environments and hybrid IT infrastructures.

Other Duties

  • Assist other IT staff with technology projects and support tasks as requested.
  • Handle additional responsibilities as assigned to support team and company objectives.

Salary Range: $25.00 - $30.00 / hourly

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
