Job summary
Quantum Sky is seeking a Desktop Support Level II in Youngstown, OH to provide complex IT support for the AFRC IT services on a multi-year contract. The role involves hands-on end-user support for PCs, servers, and peripherals, with both in-person and remote assistance as needed.
The ideal candidate will have DoD Secret clearance, CompTIA IAT II (SecPlus+) certification, and strong installation, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills, plus excellent communication and time management.
Qualifications
- Experience managing network modernization projects of similar scope and complexity.
- Desktop support experience (IT Support / IT Tech).
- Ability to deliver in-person and remote IT aid.
- Strong installation, diagnostic, upgrade and restoration skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, time management and communication.
- On-site support in Youngstown, OH.
- Active DoD Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
- Provide end-user support for PC, server, mainframe apps and hardware.
- Configure, install, diagnose, upgrade, repair and maintain PCs and peripherals.
- Coordinate with network services or software teams to restore service.
- Replicate user problems to resolve operating difficulties.
- Recommend system modifications to reduce issues.
- Maintain currency and high level of technical skill.
