Job summary

The State of North Carolina seeks a desktop support Expert/Specialist for a 12-month engagement with the Client Services Team in Raleigh, NC. The role requires technical know-how across hardware, software, peripherals, and networking, along with the ability to image computers and install software for customers.

Travel is required as part of the assignment; the analyst will also migrate data, configure devices, and maintain documentation to support IT operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience with hardware, software, peripherals and networking.
• Imaging new computers and loading software for customers.
• Installing local and network printers and other peripherals.
• Migrating data and user profiles between systems.
• Documenting processes and procedures for technical support activities.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow call tracking system.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop support and resolve IT incidents for users.
• Image, configure and deploy computers and software.
• Install printers and peripherals and manage device assets.
• Migrate user data and profiles as computers are replaced.
• Collaborate with teams and document procedures for SLAs.
