Job summary

System One is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to provide onsite desktop support for a trading floor in Washington, DC. You will be the first point of contact for traders and VIP users, resolving desktop, device, app, print, and network issues with speed and accuracy.

Must be able to work onsite in Washington, DC with possible weekend shifts. US citizenship, Green Card, or H-1B transfer is required. This is a W2 salaried role with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with trading floor operations support (IT Helpdesk, Desktop Support Technician, IT Technician).
• Proficiency with trading apps such as Bloomberg, Intex or similar market apps.
• Experience managing devices with SCCM/Intune and using Zscaler, ServiceNow and Jira.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite desktop, device, app, print and network issue resolution.
• Support Windows desktops and laptops, Bloomberg, Intex or similar market apps, Microsoft 365 and Office apps.
• Troubleshoot PC hardware, printers, peripherals, and browsers; resolve end-user network issues and Zscaler client problems.
• Manage devices with SCCM, Intune or similar; escalate to network, infrastructure and app teams as needed.
• Cover alternate shifts and planned or urgent weekend work.

Desktop Support Specialist

Onsite desktop support for a trading floor. First point of contact for traders and other VIP users. Resolve most desktop, device, app, print and network issues without escalation. Downtime has direct business impact, so fixes must be fast and accurate.

Must be able to work on site in Washington, DC - no remote work ( if non local must be able to relocate on your own ).

Applicants must be U.S. citizens, Green Card holders or current H-1B visa holders willing to transfer their visas ( H-1B visa transfer ).

W2 salaried role with full benefits - no contractors, no 3rd parties.

Duties
