Job summary

Premier Medical Group of the Hudson Valley is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist II to join our Information Technology team in Poughkeepsie, NY. You will deliver end-user IT support across facilities, assist with endpoint deployments, and help maintain desktop environments to ensure reliable operations.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of computer hardware/software experience, strong Microsoft desktop OS expertise, and familiarity with O365 and Intune.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of progressive computer hardware/software experience.
• Strong Microsoft desktop OS and endpoint management experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft O365 is a plus.
• Knowledge of Intune is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Incident management: monitor incidents and support end users.
• Perform activities related to endpoint support of technology.
• Optimize the utilization of endpoint systems.
• Communicate effectively with department, organization, and external entities.
• Deliver timely and high-quality problem resolution and escalation services.
• Support project initiatives with a team-centric approach.
• Provide client support for hardware, software, and network services.
• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of desktop environments.
• Coordinate and schedule vendors and maintenance providers.
• Troubleshoot IT hardware and software issues.
• Manage work to established service levels (SLA).
• Support organizational projects and tasks.
