We are seeking a hands‑on IT Client Services professional to support the technology deployment for a new distribution center in the Whitestown/north Indianapolis area.
This role will focus heavily on configuring, deploying, testing, and troubleshooting end‑user and warehouse technology. You will work closely with an experienced IT team member and partner with multiple teams to execute deployment plans, maintain project documentation, and prepare technology for the facility's eventual go‑live.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, test, replace, and troubleshoot desktops, monitors, printers, and other endpoint hardware.
- Install and configure applications and operating‑system components as needed.
- Configure and troubleshoot warehouse technologies including Zebra printers, wearable/handheld terminals, RF devices, and scanners.
- Support hardware builds, imaging/configuration, compatibility checks, upgrades, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain deployment plans, cut sheets, build documentation, and related project materials.
- Coordinate service requests, deployment activities, testing, and issue resolution across multiple teams.
- Troubleshoot Windows operating systems, network connectivity, wireless connectivity, and TCP/IP‑related issues.
- Provide onsite support during the distribution‑center deployment and assist with nearby facilities or project activities when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Hands‑on experience supporting and troubleshooting PC hardware, Windows operating systems, and endpoint technology.
- Experience with hardware builds, configuration, deployment, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of basic networking concepts including Ethernet, wireless, and TCP/IP.
- Experience supporting or configuring printers, handheld devices, scanners, RF/wireless devices, or similar warehouse technology.
- Demonstrated project experience involving multiple teams, deployment activities, schedules, or technical documentation.
- Strong analytical, organizational, planning, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently onsite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two‑year degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Citrix, AWS desktop environments, Android, or SOTI.
- Experience in a distribution, warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or other high‑availability environment.
- Experience with Zebra printers or similar industrial/warehouse technology.
- Familiarity with project management concepts and coordinating technical deployment teams.
This is a fully onsite role in Whitestown, Indiana. Occasional travel to nearby facilities may be required.
