Job summary

Pacer Group in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, is seeking a Deskside Support Technician to provide hands-on IT support in an onsite environment. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot PCs, hardware, and software and resolve basic network connectivity issues to keep day-to-day operations running.

You will work directly with employees, manage equipment deployments and upgrades, and escalate complex issues to infrastructure teams while upholding security standards and documenting resolutions.

Qualifications

• Onsite manufacturing/factory experience preferred.
• Degree in IT, CS or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of PCs, hardware, software, and peripherals.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite deskside and desktop support to employees.
• Troubleshoot and resolve PC, hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
• Install, configure, maintain, and replace computer hardware and software.
• Diagnose basic network connectivity and network hardware issues.
• Support printers, monitors, laptops, desktops, and other end-user devices.
• Assist with hardware deployments, upgrades, and equipment refreshes.
• Respond to service requests and incidents and document resolutions appropriately.
• Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate infrastructure or network teams.
• Provide technical assistance while maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Follow IT procedures, security standards, and support documentation.
• Work effectively in an onsite manufacturing/factory environment.
• Assist with other IT support activities as required.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Deskside Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support to end users in an onsite environment. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting PCs, hardware, software, and basic network connectivity issues. Experience supporting users within a manufacturing facility or factory environment is highly preferred.

The technician will work directly with employees to diagnose and resolve technical issues, maintain computer equipment, and ensure reliable day-to-day IT operations.
