Job summary

RightClick in Stamford, CT is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to provide hands-on Level 1 desktop support for an overnight operations team onsite in Fairfield County. The role focuses on troubleshooting, ticketing, and efficient desktop operations to keep the NOC running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of desktop/IT support, experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and Windows, and is comfortable overnight and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of desktop support or Level 1 IT support experience.
• Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and Windows support.
• Ability to work overnight and rotating shifts, including weekends.
• Experience managing IT inventory and deploying workstations.

Our client is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to provide hands-on Level 1 technical support and manage day-to-day desktop operations for an overnight support team. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting instincts, a dependable and flexible approach to scheduling, and solid organizational skills. This is an onsite position based in Fairfield County, CT.

Desktop Support Specialist's Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide basic hands-on Level 1 desktop support to end users
• Manage and monitor the NOC queue, escalating issues appropriately
• Move computers and deploy workstations as needed
• Track and manage hardware inventory
• Support Active Directory user and device administration
• Provide support for Office 365 applications and services

Desktop Support Specialist's Qualifications and Skills:
