Responsibilities

  • Ensure integration and functionality of devices and applications.
  • Label, inventory, and place devices per deployment plans and standards.
  • Perform device validation for correct configuration, connectivity, and performance.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly and professionally.
  • Provide on-site troubleshooting and support during deployments.
  • Interact with clinical/operational staff to minimize workflow disruption.
  • Work across facilities, adapting to changing priorities and timelines.
  • Maintain documentation of deployment activities and asset tracking.

Job Description:

The Device Deployment Technician is responsible for the installation, configuration, testing, and support of end-user devices across clinical and operational environments. This role ensures that all hardware is properly deployed, integrated with Epic systems, and fully functional to support patient care and business operations. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working directly with clinical staff in fast-paced healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and test end-user devices, including workstations, laptops, tablets, printers, and peripheral equipment.
  • Ensure proper integration and functionality of devices and their associated applications.
  • Label, inventory, and accurately place devices according to organizational standards and deployment plans.
  • Perform device validation to confirm correct configuration, connectivity, and system performance.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide on-site troubleshooting and support during and after deployment activities.
  • Interact professionally with clinical and operational staff to minimize workflow disruption and ensure positive user experience.
  • Work across multiple facilities and departments, adapting to shifting priorities and project timelines.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of deployment activities, asset tracking, and issue resolution.
