Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Tier 2 Support Technician to provide user support for approximately 2,000 on-site employees in Columbus, OH. The role involves ticketing, hardware fixes, and helping with onboarding and deployments.

Responsibilities include responding to ServiceNow requests, assisting with training, and collaborating with the Level 2 team. This is a contract position with full onsite work.

Qualifications

• Experience in Tier 2 IT support and ticket handling.

Work hours - Stagger teams: start 6:30 to 8am then 8-hour day.

Job duties: This person will be hired on as a Tier 2 Support Technician. Their primary responsibility is user support and ticket assignments and if there is time they will help with training and higher level tasks. There are a lot of software and hardware fixes, replacing monitors, printer fixes on DHCP and getting IP address and printed off the network and replacing printers. They could also help with hardware deployments supporting rollouts and refresh projects. Will work with new hires to help onboard with IT equipment. They will work from the ServiceNow ticketing system to respond to requests, support walk up users, respond to MS Teams messages. They will meet and support users in the plant as needed. There are approximately 2K users. They will work closely with the level 2 support team members.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
