Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Service Desk Technician for a 1-year contract on-site in Meridian, Idaho. You will provide Tier 1 support to end users via phone, email, and chat, documenting issues and escalating complex problems as needed.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years of enterprise help desk experience, strong knowledge of Windows 10, Office 365, VDI environments, and Active Directory, with excellent communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise help desk experience supporting corporate PC and network clients.
• Strong troubleshooting for Windows 10 and enterprise software (Office 365, Adobe, line-of-business apps).
• Experience with Active Directory tools and basic ticketing processes.

Responsibilities

TEKsystems is currently seeking a Service Desk Technician for a 1-year contract that will be located on-site in Meridian, Idaho.

Description

• Provides Tier 1 technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end users via phone, email, and chat.
• Responsible for documenting issues, resolving hardware/software requests, and escalating complex problems to specialized technical teams.
• Provide first-level technical support for end-user desktops, laptops, handheld devices, and network peripherals.
• Deliver phone-based customer service and technical assistance in a high-volume service desk environment.
• Troubleshoot standard enterprise software including Microsoft Office 365, Adobe, line-of-business, and proprietary applications.
• Accurately document all customer interactions in the ticketing system.
• Escalate and route unresolved requests to appropriate secondary technical teams.
• Experience: 5 + years of enterprise help desk/service desk experience supporting corporate PC/network clients, network printing, and high-volume phone queues.
• Technical Knowledge: Windows 10, VDI environments, Microsoft Office 365, mobile devices, and enterprise ticketing software.
• Systems Administration: Basic understanding of Active Directory tools, group policies, and user account management.
• Industry Background : Prior experience in large enterprise environments (healthcare, financial, or tech institutions strongly preferred).
• Soft Skills: Outstanding communication and phone-based customer service skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
