Job summary

Iron Systems, Inc. seeks an experienced Desktop Support Specialist to manage end-user devices at the Johnston, RI client site.

You will handle incidents from intake to resolution, perform imaging, software deployment, and hardware replacements, and provide VIP deskside support as needed. Responsibilities include configuring Windows 10/11, using SCCM & Intune, administering Outlook/AD, maintaining security with BitLocker, and aligning with ITIL and ServiceNow processes.

Qualifications

Experience with Windows 10/11 OS and imaging Windows 11 via PXE.
Hands‑on experience replacing batteries and hardware break‑fix with Dell devices.
Experience using Intune, AD, BitLocker, and Outlook administration.
Familiarity with ITIL concepts (Incident, Change, Problem, Service Request) and ServiceNow.
Experience with EUC tools and remote support tools; MS Office proficiency.
Knowledge of Lync, VPN, and mobile device support is a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage desktop device incidents from intake to resolution.
Handle IMAC and deskside support services.
Manage hardware and software breaks and fixes for laptops/desktops.
Provide conference room, remote desktop, and on‑site event support at the client location.
Maintain standard hardware/software images and lifecycle support for desktop devices.
Monitor security profiles and antivirus on all desktop devices; enforce compliance.
Provide VIP deskside support and be point of contact at site when no other IT is available.
