Job summary

Staffing Folks is seeking a Desktop Support Point of Sale Technician to deliver tier 1/2 IT support for hardware, software, printing, connectivity, and POS systems. You will install and maintain operating systems and images, troubleshoot peripherals, and assist with mobile devices in a dynamic environment.

The role requires monitoring incidents in a ticketing system, meeting SLAs, and occasionally working nights and weekends to meet customer demand.

Qualifications

Experience supporting Windows OS and Office 365 in a corporate environment.
Proficient in diagnosing hardware, software, printing, and connectivity issues.
Familiarity with Active Directory and SCCM imaging workflows.
Comfortable troubleshooting smartphones and other mobile devices.
Ability to work outside of standard business hours as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide tier 1 and 2 IT support for hardware, software, printing, connectivity, mobile technology, POS technology, and user setup/authorization.
Install, configure, and maintain computer operating systems and images.
Troubleshoot peripherals and mobile devices for end users.
Document, track, and monitor client incidents and requests in a ticketing system to ensure timely resolution.
Set client expectations and ensure tickets are completed per SLAs; escalate based on impact.
