Kforce, the company partner for this role, seeks a Desktop Packaging Engineer in New York, NY to build, test, and deploy Windows and macOS packages for enterprise software delivery and rapid vulnerability remediation.

Collaborate with security, deployment, and support teams to ensure secure, reliable packaging that meets SLAs and governance standards, turning patches into production-ready releases for high-severity threats.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent desired.
• 2 years of experience in desktop engineering or application packaging.
• Experience with SCCM / MECM, Workspace One, or Microsoft Intune.
• Experience managing application deployment across enterprise environments.
• Solid understanding of Windows OS (10/11).
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and change management processes.
• Application Packaging (MSI, MSIX, App-V).
• PowerShell scripting.
• Shows curiosity and adaptability in learning and responsibly applying new technologies, including artificial intelligence, to reimagine how we work.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop moderately complex application packaging solutions and supporting infrastructure components.
• Ensure packaging solutions align with end-to-end platform performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.
• Author and maintain policies, standards, guidelines, and SOPs to support packaging and deployment processes.
• Independently monitor and analyze advanced performance and capacity metrics to optimize technology solutions and ensure SLA adherence.
