Description

Robert Half is searching for a Desktop Support Analyst to support a large Shipyard based in Portland, OR. This Desktop Support Analyst will support with a Windows OS Migration (10-11), responsible for deploying device images. This position is 100% Remote and is a 3-month contract. Apply today!

Job Details

• Schedule: Monday - Friday (Core Hours PST)
• Location: 100% Remote
• Duration: 3-month contract

Job Duties:

• Administering Microsoft SCCM environment, including security groups, application deployments, patch management, troubleshooting, log analysis, upgrades, and removals based on architectural guidelines.
• Creating and managing Windows 10 OS images, including task sequences and driver integration.
• Planning, designing, and testing software and patch packages for security.
• Monitoring and responding to system alerts.
• Managing SCCM RBAC roles and permissions.
• Maintaining disaster recovery plans and environment recovery information.
• Providing Level 2/3 support for core infrastructure services, working with IT & Security teams.
• Leading software deployment projects as directed.
• Providing guidance and training to support teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years in remote Desktop Support or related roles.
• Experience migrating Windows OS and managing machines (Windows 8 to 10 preferred).
• Proficient with SCCM for deployment and patch management.
• Knowledge of RBAC and Active Directory administration.
• Experience with patching tools like Patch My PC.
• Basic PowerShell scripting skills.
