Job summary

A leading staffing firm is seeking a Desktop Engineer for a hybrid role in Dublin, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge in building and deploying Windows Store Images and Windows virtualization. Responsibilities include testing and certifying images, as well as transitioning and supporting new Store hardware. This is a mid-senior level position with a focus on technical delivery in a contract capacity.

Qualifications

• Strong Hyper-V and Windows virtualization experience is a must.
• Experience and ability to create and deploy images using SCCM.

Base pay range

$55.00/hr - $65.00/hr

W2 Contract

Salary Range: $114,400 - $135,200 per year

Location: Dublin, CA - Hybrid Role

Job Summary

As a Desktop Engineer, you will need a strong knowledge of building and deploying Windows and software application packaging to mitigate the impact on the technical delivery of the Desktop Refresh Project.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Build, test, and certify Windows Store Images on new hardware for Store Back Office COPC and BOPC, including testing and UAT of Store applications.
• Transition and support of Store Windows OS on new Store Hardware to operations

Requirements and Qualifications

• Strong Hyper-V and Windows virtualization experience is a must
• Experience and ability to create and deploy images using SCCM
