$100,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

Daily Responsibilities

  • Provide expert knowledge in the Desktop environment, change control of the desktop environment, escalated incidents from the Helpdesk, and may require after-hours, weekends, and holidays for emergencies and scheduled projects/tasks.
  • Ensure End Users have optimal PC experience.
  • Manage Virtual Environment and VDI Infrastructure.
  • Develop Application Packages for automated deployment.
  • Assist in the ownership of various end-user applications, including design, maintenance, operational stability, and security of the PC environment.
  • Serve as a key technical resource in projects/tasks related to the end-user PC environment.
  • Responsible for image management, application packaging and deployment, Citrix/VDI management.
  • Define key elements of desktop architecture, establish best practices, and promote an optimal user experience.

Requirements

  • Expert knowledge and experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
  • Previous experience managing a Citrix Virtual Application and Desktop (DaaS/VDI) platform, including packaging and deployment.
  • Expert knowledge/experience with desktop OS and applications, such as Windows 11, Microsoft 365 (Office, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive), hardware drivers, BIOS/firmware management.
  • Expertise in desktop imaging processes to streamline deployment, updates, patches, and custom settings.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 7 to 10+ years of experience in a desktop engineering role within a Windows PC environment.
  • Proven ability to lead, manage, and define various desktop environments and projects.
  • Strong customer service, troubleshooting, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Proficiency with VBScript, AutoIT, and PowerShell scripting languages.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Intune (Windows, iOS, Android, Autopilot, Configuration management) and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).
