$100,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

Daily Responsibilities

Provide expert knowledge in the Desktop environment, change control of the desktop environment, escalated incidents from the Helpdesk, and may require after-hours, weekends, and holidays for emergencies and scheduled projects/tasks.
Ensure End Users have optimal PC experience.
Manage Virtual Environment and VDI Infrastructure.
Develop Application Packages for automated deployment.
Assist in the ownership of various end-user applications, including design, maintenance, operational stability, and security of the PC environment.
Serve as a key technical resource in projects/tasks related to the end-user PC environment.
Responsible for image management, application packaging and deployment, Citrix/VDI management.
Define key elements of desktop architecture, establish best practices, and promote an optimal user experience.

Requirements

Expert knowledge and experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
Previous experience managing a Citrix Virtual Application and Desktop (DaaS/VDI) platform, including packaging and deployment.
Expert knowledge/experience with desktop OS and applications, such as Windows 11, Microsoft 365 (Office, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive), hardware drivers, BIOS/firmware management.
Expertise in desktop imaging processes to streamline deployment, updates, patches, and custom settings.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
7 to 10+ years of experience in a desktop engineering role within a Windows PC environment.
Proven ability to lead, manage, and define various desktop environments and projects.
Strong customer service, troubleshooting, organizational, and prioritization skills.
Proficiency with VBScript, AutoIT, and PowerShell scripting languages.
Expertise with Microsoft Intune (Windows, iOS, Android, Autopilot, Configuration management) and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).
