Job summary

Stefanini Group is seeking a Deskside Technician II to support end-users on-site in Shawnee, KS. The role involves building computers using SCCM, deploying base images, and installing non-standard software after imaging.

You will handle 10–12 machines at once and troubleshoot connectivity to keep devices online during builds. You will provide hands-on hardware/software support to the onsite client, document work, follow established processes, and QA activities while communicating clearly with

• Experience with Windows 10 and Windows 11.
• Proficient in loading computer images with SCCM and PowerShell scripts.
• Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity to keep PCs online during build.

Responsibilities

• Build computers using SCCM for base image.
• Install non-standard software after base image build.
• Manage 10–12 machines simultaneously.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity to ensure PC online during build.
• Prepare and document deployments and QA activities.
• Provide hardware/software support to onsite client, including break/fix.
• Explain refresh processes to end-users and assist with configuring refreshed computers.

• Demonstrated experience with non-standard Software Installation
• Demonstrated experience loading computer images with SCCM and PowerShell scripts
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot network connectivity to ensure PC is online during build process
• Provide hardware/software support services to onsite client including break/fix
• Diagnose end-user system failures and implement repair solutions
• Troubleshoot network devices in order to ensure connectivity from the PC to the Network
• Strong technical and communication ability to explain to end-users about refresh processes, including ability to help configure and sync refreshed computer
• Flexibility to handle a variety of activities and changes
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm if activities do not go according to plan
• High organizational ability and detailed oriented
• Demonstrated ability to follow processes
• Demonstrated ability to document work, track tasks/installs, and perform QA activities
