Job summary

Custom Computer Specialists is seeking a motivated Deskside Support Technician to join our team in Hauppauge, NY. This role provides first/second line support for help desk calls and desk-side assistance in a higher-education environment.

The position requires 2 years of hardware and software support experience and strong Windows/Apple expertise. You’ll configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Windows and Apple hardware/software, peripherals, and imaging tasks while communicating clearly with users

Qualifications

• 2 years of hardware and software support experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Confidence in troubleshooting hardware and software on Windows and Apple platforms.
• Confidence in creating and deploying images on Windows and Apple platforms.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.

What You’ll Do:
