We will consider candidates at different stages of their careers.
Entry-Level Candidates
Candidates may be recent graduates or early-career professionals with relevant education or training in interior design, kitchen and bath design, drafting, architecture, construction, or a related discipline. Hands-on experience with CAD-based design software and demonstrated customer service or sales ability are strongly preferred.
We are willing to invest in the right candidate who has a strong design foundation, aptitude for technology, excellent customer skills, and an interest in developing both their design and sales capabilities.
Mid-Level Candidates
Candidates should have previous experience designing and selling kitchens, bathrooms, cabinetry, remodeling projects, or related residential products and should be comfortable independently managing customers through the design and sales process.
This is expected to be a full-time hybrid position based in Raleigh, NC.
The role will include designated full working days in the showroom, where the Designer / Sales Consultant will meet with customers, review products and selections, collaborate with team members, and support showroom sales activities.
On other designated days, the employee may have the option to work from home, providing uninterrupted time for activities such as:
- Developing and refining designs
- Completing customer-requested revisions
- Preparing estimates and proposals
- Following up with customers and prospects
- Managing active opportunities and projects
- Completing other design, sales, and administrative responsibilities
Because this is a customer-facing sales position, the specific balance between showroom and remote work may vary based on customer appointments, project needs, sales activity, and business requirements.
Compensation & Growth
Compensation will be commensurate with experience, allowing us to consider both promising early-career candidates and experienced kitchen and bath design professionals.
The compensation package is expected to include:
- Base compensation based on experience and qualifications
- Commission on sales
- Potential bonus compensation tied to overall company profitability
- Opportunity for increased earnings as sales performance, product knowledge, customer relationships, and responsibilities grow
The combination of base compensation, commission, and potential company profitability bonuses is designed to reward both individual sales performance and contribution to the overall success of the business.
Why This Role
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants a career that combines design, problem-solving, relationship building, and sales.
Rather than simply producing drawings or working a traditional showroom sales position, the Kitchen & Bath Designer / Sales Consultant will have the opportunity to own the customer experience from initial conversation through final design and sale.
