Job summary

• Knowledge of cabinetry styles, finishes, and installation considerations.
• Experience with design software (2020, ProKitchens or similar) and basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail, organization, and multi-project management.
• Background in interior design or related field; certifications are a plus.
• Ability to work from home, including evenings or weekends for client appointments.
• Proficiency with Google Docs and Google Sheets

Role Description

The Kitchen and Bath Designer Sales Person is a part-time or Full time position. This position involves meeting with customers in their homes, assessing their needs, and creating functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen and bath designs. The role includes preparing design layouts, cabinetry plans, and material selections, as well as presenting proposals, estimating project costs, and guiding customers through product choices. The presentation is given at our showroom complete with 3D renderings. Day-to-day responsibilities also include managing sales inquiries, following up with leads, and ensuring a smooth handoff from design to installation. The designer is expected to maintain product knowledge, support a welcoming showroom environment, and contribute to the company's reputation for excellent service and craftsmanship. The designer is also responsible for keeping track of all cabinetry and product actual cost to ensure proper commissions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience with Kitchen & Bath Design, including space planning, layout development, and material selection.
• Able to complete a floorpan and take all measurements to create an accurate Kitchen & Bath design.
• Demonstrated Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Proven Sales abilities, including consultative selling, proposal presentation, and follow-up on leads.
• Knowledge of Cabinetry, including styles, construction, finishes, and installation considerations.
• Experience with design software (e.g., 2020, ProKitchens or similar) and basic computer proficiency.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Background in interior design, kitchen and bath design, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Ability to work from home, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed for client appointments.
