J.Crew Factory is seeking a seasoned apparel designer to manage seasonal design execution across the product lifecycle. You will coordinate creative work, develop prototypes, and ensure alignment with the merchandizing strategy.

You will research trends, collaborate with production, and supervise development from first protos to final samples, travel for trade shows as needed. We value strong illustration, pattern/fit knowledge, and the ability to coach others while delivering brand-faithful

Qualificações

• 4-5 years Design experience
• High taste level and creative ability
• Ability to manage, coach, and develop others
• Working knowledge of garment construction, textiles, and pattern/fit
• Knowledge of fabric/yarn construction
• Ability to conduct color/print research
• Knowledge of seasonal silhouette and color trends
• Strong illustration/presentation skills
• Understanding of J. Crew Brand, ability to implement into design
• Proven ability to research and apply market/fashion trend information
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Detail oriented, good follow through
• Strong organizational, communication, and written skills
• Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, and Excel

Overview

Salary Range

Salary Range: $86,400.00 - $111,700.00 At J.Crew Group (JCG) we aim to pay competitively for our company’s size and industry. The base salary offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region of work premises, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. The base salary is just one component of J.Crew Group’s competitive total rewards strategy that also includes the opportunity for bonus, competitive benefits and perks.
