Job summary

Greenheck Group is seeking a Designer II/III to assist in designing and developing products, machinery and tooling. You will manage projects, schedule work, and report progress, coordinating with the design team on 3D modeling, part sizing, drawings, and change notices.

The role requires 2–4 years of relevant experience and an associate degree or equivalent. Proficiency in CAD systems (AutoCAD and Inventor preferred) is expected, with on-site work in Schofield, WI.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant work experience
• 2 Year / Associate Degree or equivalent years of job experience
• Knowledge of CAD systems (AutoCAD and Inventor Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Create moderate complexity drawings for new and changed products under supervision
• Prepare BOMs for new and changed designs
• Maintain CAD/PDF drawing files and related documentation
• Support prototyping of sheet metal designs
• Provide technical assistance on inquiries as needed
• Offer design direction to shop floor to resolve issues
• Contribute to value engineering and cost-efficiency improvements
• Assist in release of designs to production including testing and training
