This role contributes to the design and development of seasonal collections, translating brand direction, market trends, and customer insights into compelling, commercially viable products.

The Designer collaborates with cross-functional teams to maintain the brand's aesthetic and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in fashion-related field required.
• 3-5 years of apparel design experience, preferably with women's branded products.
• Strong understanding of fashion trends, color, fabric, garment construction, fit, and apparel manufacturing process.
• Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and other design software.
• Ability to create original design concepts, technical sketches, CADs, and design presentations.
• Experience developing products from concept through sample review and production.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain brand aesthetic and design standards.
• Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate across merchandising, product development, technical design, production, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong creative and commercial awareness with customer insights.

Responsibilities

• Support development of seasonal design concepts and collections aligned with brand aesthetics and business objectives.
• Research fashion trends, color, fabric, market, and consumer insights for relevant designs.
• Create original design concepts, sketches, CADs, and technical sketches for apparel collections.
• Collaborate with leaders and cross-functional partners from concept to production.
• Work with product development, technical design, production, and sourcing to meet objectives.
• Prepare and maintain tech packs, sketches, specifications, and design documentation.
• Participate in fittings, sample reviews, and revisions for design intent and quality.
• Review prototypes and production samples and communicate changes clearly.
• Ensure consistency of brand identity and aesthetic across product categories.
• Manage design projects and deadlines with organization and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with vendors and factories throughout product development.
• Contribute to presentations, seasonal reviews, and internal meetings.
