We are growing and looking for a full-time, Senior Designer to join the design team on-site at the Midtown Manhattan office!
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct trend, market, and competitive research across contemporary, fast-fashion, and lifestyle brands.
- Identify relevant silhouettes, fabrics, colors, details, and category opportunities.
- Translate trend insights into actionable product ideas, seasonal direction, and presentations.
- Develop apparel across dresses, tops, bottoms, athleisure, and special projects.
- Create and revise CADs, technical flats, colorways, tech packs, and presentations using Adobe Illustrator and other creative tools.
- Maintain accurate development materials that clearly communicate design intent and support sample execution.
- Partner with product development, technical design, merchandising, planning, supply chain, and overseas teams.
- Participate in fit reviews, evaluate samples and factory feedback, and document revisions throughout development.
- Support multi-channel, wholesale, B2B, and partnership programs as needed.
- Manage multiple development calendars and style counts while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Contribute to special projects, collaborations, presentations, assortment planning, and seasonal line reviews.
- Use AI-powered tools to support trend analysis, concept development, product visualization, presentations, and workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field preferred
- 7+ years of apparel design experience
- Strong experience in licensed apparel
- Strong understanding of contemporary, fast-fashion, and lifestyle markets
- Advanced Adobe Illustrator skills required; Photoshop and InDesign are a plus
- Strong CAD, technical flat, tech pack, presentation, garment construction, fit, fabrication, and product development skills
- Experience working with overseas factories preferred
- Strong organization, communication, presentation, and project-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across time zones when needed
Target compensation for this role starts at $90k dependent on experience.
