We are seeking a Design Verification Test Engineer I to support verification activities for imaging devices and systems.
This role focuses heavily on hands‑on testing, test infrastructure, verification procedures, technical documentation, and collaboration with systems engineering teams.
DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITIES
- Approximately 70% hands‑on testing and 30% documentation.
- Execute planned verification tests and work with Systems Engineering on modified or new requirements.
- Collaborate with the team on execution and automation of test procedures.
- Document and communicate test results effectively.
- Maintain frequent communication with the test lab and engineering teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design test procedures for design verification activities.
- Execute released test procedures developed by yourself and others.
- Perform design verification of complex devices and systems.
- Collect, analyze, and present test results in a clear and usable format.
- Document and track issues identified during verification activities.
- Communicate regularly with design verification team members regarding status and schedules.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 0–3 years of relevant experience in Design and Systems Verification.
- Experience with testing and verification of complex devices and systems.
- Strong technical aptitude with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within structured development and verification processes.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL SKILLS
- 3+ years of experience in Systems Verification within a challenging product development environment.
- Experience working within a highly regulated industry and familiarity with quality system regulations and standards.
- Experience in Systems Verification.
- Experience developing and executing Test Procedures and Requirements.
- Familiarity with requirements management tools such as DOORS, PTC, Polarion, or similar.
- Experience with development methodologies such as V-Model, Agile, or Lean.
- Programming experience with C++, MATLAB, LabVIEW, or similar.
- Experience developing automated testing and data collection solutions.
- Medical device or imaging instrument experience is a strong plus.
