Job summary

USK Technologies in Goleta, CA is seeking a Verification Engineer (Test Engineer I) for a 7+ month contract. This on-site role offers a $55/hour on W2, with a Monday-Thursday schedule and 40 hours per week.

You will perform hands-on design and system verification testing for imaging devices, develop tests, analyze results, and collaborate with Systems Engineering and the test lab to validate requirements, while supporting test automation and data collection.

Qualifications

• 0–3+ years of Design Verification, Systems Verification, or Test Engineering experience.
• Hands-on testing and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with technical documentation and report writing.
• Programming experience with C++, MATLAB, LabVIEW, Python or similar tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in a regulated industry (medical devices, aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, etc.) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on design and system verification testing for imaging devices and systems.
• Execute and develop test procedures, analyze results, and prepare technical reports.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering and the test lab to validate new and modified requirements.
• Support test automation and data collection activities using programming tools.
