THE ROLE:

We are seeking an adaptive, self-motivated Design Verification Engineer to join our growing team. As a key contributor, you will help drive and enhance AMD's ability to deliver high-quality, industry-leading technologies. You will work with teams developing leading-edge IPs, RTL, firmware, circuits, and architectures.

THE PERSON:

You have a passion for modern, complex processor architecture and ASIC/SoC verification. You are a team player with excellent communication skills, experienced in collaborating across different sites and time zones. You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, are eager to learn, and ready to tackle challenges. The role involves working closely with senior silicon design and firmware engineers. Attention to detail, accuracy, and good communication are essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain tests for functional verification.
• Create directed and random verification tests, debug failures, work with RTL and firmware engineers to resolve design issues.
• Ensure functional and code coverage verification.
• Provide technical support to other teams.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience with Verilog, SystemVerilog, and UVM verification libraries.
• Proficiency in C/C++.
• Strong ASIC design verification background.
• Experience with DDR or Memory Controller; PHY verification is a plus.
• Scripting skills in Python, Perl, TCL are advantageous.
• Ability to collaborate with architects, hardware, and firmware engineers to verify new features.
• Proficient in debugging firmware and RTL code using simulation tools.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
