Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a hands-on, full-stack‑leaning frontend engineer to join the Unity Design System team. You will build the React component library, design tokens, and AI-assisted workflows, while supporting a 600+ developer community with demos, office hours, and presentations.

You will work across React/TypeScript components and Python/Node.js services, ensuring compliant, high‑quality delivery. Strong English communication and independent, proactive collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a relevant field with several years of experience.
• Front-end engineering with strong React and TypeScript.
• Strong HTML/CSS and design-system/component-library experience.
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI and AI workflows.
• Backend/full-stack capability with Python and Node.js.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain reusable React/TypeScript components with theming and documentation.
• Develop AI-assisted workflows and integrate agentic tools to deliver Unity-compliant UI at scale.
• Build full-stack services and automation using Python and Node.js (CI/CD, design-ops, compliance checks).
• Own automated tests and QA processes, ensuring accessibility and cross-browser compatibility.
• Provide community support and developer relations, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
