Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior UI Developer, AI Studio, to lead UX design and frontend delivery for AI-enabled products. You will own user experiences end-to-end, collaborating with product, backend, data and ML teams to translate designs into production interfaces using React, Next.js and API integrations.

You will drive accessibility, performance, testing and CI/CD while shaping reusable UI components and playbooks. A strong emphasis on governance and responsible AI will guide development.

Qualifications

• End-to-end ownership of UX design and UI delivery for a production web application.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience translating UX designs into responsive interfaces with React/Next.js.
• Full-stack collaboration with backend, data and ML teams on production interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery with product and UX partners and define user needs and adoption path.
• Translate UX designs into responsive UI frontend architecture with accessibility and performance.
• Own translation of UX designs into production interfaces and API integrations.
• Design human-AI UX experiences integrating model services, LLMs and RAG.
• Establish testing, CI/CD, observability, and incident response for frontend delivery.
• Coordinate governance, create reusable UI components and mentor engineers.
