Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join the AI Studio and help deliver human-AI UX experiences at scale. You will translate UX designs into responsive interfaces using React/Next.js, collaborate with product, backend, and ML teams, and ensure accessible, secure, and high-performance frontend solutions.

The role requires strong JavaScript/TypeScript expertise, end-to-end ownership of UI delivery, and experience integrating API contracts and data flows into production interfaces.

Qualifications

• End-to-end ownership of UX design and UI delivery for a production web application.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS with React/Next.js.
• Full-stack experience with APIs, integrations, data flows and production support.

Responsibilities

• Lead user-centred discovery with product and UX partners to define needs and outcomes.
• Translate research into clear UX designs, prototypes and UI requirements.
• Own translation of UX designs into responsive frontend architecture, including accessibility and performance.
• Deliver UI using JavaScript/TypeScript and React/Next.js; contribute to API contracts and integrations.
• Design human-AI UX with model services, RAG, and deterministic workflows with clear oversight.
