Honda in Ohio seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to advance new model development, ensuring manufacturability and process readiness for North America.

You will utilize Delmia, Catia, Enovia and AHEAD to validate requirements, perform virtual maturation, and support data reviews and VCBs. This is a full-time on-site role with potential overtime and travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2+ years in new model development or manufacturing.
• Experience with Enovia, Catia, Delmia, AHEAD.

Job Purpose

New Model development utilizing virtual maturation of product manufacturability and process development. Requirement confirmation for North America Frame to prevent costly manufacturing related die loss.

Key Accountabilities

• Manufacturing Engineering Support for New Model Development and Delmia/Catia use for North America manufactured modelsManufacturing Requirements Confirmation for past problem history items assigned for North America manufactured modelsSupport and correlate Delmia / Catia Virtual Confirmation Build / Data Reviews preparation and conduct the VCBs for all events through Die-goTheme activity to improve Virtual Maturation and simulations (IC.IDO) for all North America manufactured models

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• Minimum Educational QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial) or equivalent relevant experience (Paint preferred)
• Minimum Experience2+ Yrs combined experience in new model development or manufacturing (Paint preferred)
• Other Job-Specific SkillsExperience with Enovia, Catia, Delmia, AHEADKnowledge of Honda new model development

Working Conditions

• 0 ~ 5 hours of overtime per week.
• 0 ~ 10 % travel
• Full Time On-site with flexibility
