Job summary
Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is seeking a Design Software Support Agent within the Design Center of Excellence to ensure stable operation of AEC design software across the enterprise.
You will install, configure, maintain, support, and optimize software such as Autodesk and Bentley, analyze user issues, and help enforce design standards. This role offers a TN visa option for qualified candidates and competitive compensation.
Qualifications
- Certification or equivalent working experience in design software.
- 2 years minimum experience with Autodesk Civil 3D or Bentley OpenX Design.
- Working knowledge of design and plan preparation procedures and tools.
Responsibilities
- Assist, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and plans for design software administration.
- Assist in migrating projects to newer software versions of design applications as needed.
- Set up, configure, and start design software, suggest appropriate hardware, and address requirements.
- Assist users by providing technical support and troubleshooting within design applications.
- Enforce design standards and best practices for layering, dimensioning, BIM/CIM, and client standards.
- Prepare training sessions and teaching materials to advance knowledge across the organization.
