Job summary

Ethan Allen Interiors Inc. is seeking a Design Selling Leader in Shelburne, VT to drive design solutions and lead a high‑performing team. You will partner with managers and designers to push sales growth, while ensuring exceptional customer experiences and project outcomes.

The role emphasizes leadership, design expertise, and use of live chat, AR and 3D room planning tools to showcase products and coordinate color/space planning for clients.

Qualifications

• Interior Design degree or a professional portfolio is a plus.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Excellent communication and customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Managers and Designers to achieve goals and increase overall performance of the design center.
• Manage, develop, train and motivate a team of design associates while maintaining high customer contact.
• Collaborate with each associate to manage design projects, customer contacts and relationships, sales volume, design consultant effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
• Review and provide feedback on design projects using technical and creative skills in color and space planning.
• Demonstrated ability to practice residential interior design.
• Train and coach for design, product knowledge, sales performance and customer service.
