Job summary

California Closets seeks a Design Consultant to deliver custom, whole-home design solutions and exceptional service. You will listen to client needs, design with our CAD tools, and guide customers from measurements to installation. Training begins at $19/hour for 12 weeks, with potential commission afterwards.

The role requires travel to the Sacramento showroom periodically, full-time hours, and a strong passion for design and customer care.

Qualifications

• Interior design education or in-home sales experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365; comfortable with laptops/tablets.
• Experience with Salesforce, CAD, or design software preferred.
• Creative yet detail-oriented with a craftsmanship mindset.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Design custom storage solutions using our CAD software.
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
• Coordinate with the installation team to ensure job completion.
• Participate in meetings and training sessions.
• Manage a portfolio of projects and clients.
