Grand Home Furnishings in Waynesboro is seeking a motivated Design/Sales Consultant to guide customers through showroom selections, discuss style, needs, and budgets, and explain financing, warranties, and promotions. You will process orders, coordinate deliveries, and maintain a polished showroom.

The role emphasizes strong communication and customer service, with flexible evenings/weekends and potential progression to commission-based earnings as you learn our products and sales processes.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with a welcoming presence.
• Experience in customer service, hospitality or retail is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work a rotating retail schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and professionally.
• Consult on style, needs, and budget, guiding customers through showroom options and financing/warranty details.
• Process sales orders accurately, coordinate with vendors, and schedule deliveries.
• Follow up after delivery and assist with service orders as needed.
• Send handwritten thank-you notes and maintain showroom displays daily.
• Occasionally assist with tent sales or loading merchandise for pickups.
