Grand Home Furnishings in Roanoke is hiring a Design/Sales Consultant to join our showroom team. You will greet customers, advise on style and budgets, explain financing, warranties, and promotions, and process orders with accuracy.

You’ll also assist with deliveries and follow-up service to ensure satisfaction, while maintaining a well-displayed showroom. The ideal candidate has strong communication, a customer-service mindset, and flexibility for evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a welcoming presence.
• Customer service or retail experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible for a rotating retail schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

Your Earning Potential

New Design Consultants begin at $18.00 per hour during a structured paid training program of up to 4 months. Once on commission:

• Average annual earnings: $45,000–$60,000+
• Top performers: $80,000+, with some earning six figures
• Uncapped — no ceiling on what you can earn
