Hanover Floors Kitchen & Bath in Tampa, FL is seeking a Design Sales Consultant who will learn the world of sales and design, with no flooring experience required. We’ll help you build the skills to succeed through a 30-day training and mentorship program.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' proven work experience in Retail Sales, Customer Service, Furniture Sales, Hospitality or similar role.
• Valid driver's license & reliable transportation (REQUIRED)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook & CRM platforms.
• Positive, communicative & motivated to help grow the business.
• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills.
• Flooring or design experience is a plus, but not required — we're happy to train the right person!

Responsibilities

• Determine overall flooring & design needs while offering great customer experiences
• Build genuine relationships with new & existing customers
• Schedule appointments for client design consultations
• Keep up to date on the selection of products & services provided
• Measure spaces, estimate materials, present proposals, product suggestions, manage payments & follow up w/clients
• Keep the install team on track by sharing clear notes + photos
• Communicate with vendors to determine product specifications & availability
• Utilize social media to create networking groups & prospect for new business
• Keep the showroom clean, organized & on trend
