Job summary

Dulmes Décor Carpet One in Wisconsin is seeking a Design & Sales Consultant to guide clients through flooring, backsplashes, custom tile showers, and window treatments, combining design flair with precise project management.

You will build relationships, present options, generate quotes, manage orders and payments, and ensure premium service from consultation to installation, in a daylight-hours schedule and a supportive, team‑oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in retail sales, customer service, or a design-related field.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to build long-term rapport.
• A refined sense of color theory and a strong interest in interior design.
• Proficiency in basic mathematics for calculating square footage, measurements, and project pricing.
• A collaborative mindset with strong drive to support overall team goals.
• Formal education or experience in Interior Design or decorating is a plus, though we are fully prepared to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Provide design consultation for flooring, backsplashes, custom tile showers, and window treatments.
• Manage client relationships and identify design preferences, project requirements, and structural needs.
• Prospect and follow up with potential customers to build a robust pipeline.
• Generate accurate price quotes and proposals based on precise measurements and product selections.
• Process client payments securely and order necessary materials in a timely manner.
• Resolve client inquiries, address concerns promptly, and ensure premium service experience throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain deep product knowledge and stay ahead of emerging interior design trends.
