Job summary

The City of Indianapolis Department of Public Works, Engineering - Dry Side, seeks a Project Manager Design to oversee design management for transportation, environmental, traffic and stormwater projects across Marion County. • Technical degree or certification is required or five or more years of related experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
• Excellent conflict resolution skills are required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design management of transportation, environmental, traffic and stormwater projects in Marion County.
• Interpret design specifications, schedules and plans and ensure work meets statutes, ordinances, specs and contract requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality as required.
• Position reports to Chief Engineer and may be expanded with additional duties as assigned.
