Turner & Townsend is seeking a Design Project Manager with an architectural background to support designs for new and existing construction builds. The role requires experience in Design/Architecture/Civil works and strong coordination across design teams, clients, and contractors.

The ideal candidate will manage multiple fast-paced projects, coordinate documentation, and maintain standards while delivering high-quality client services throughout design and construction.

• College degree in a relevant field and experience managing large-scale construction programs.
• Experience in Design/Architecture/Civil works.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office.
• Excellent client-facing presentation and teamwork skills.

Job Description

Turner & Townsendis seeking aDesign Project Managerto work with our team, and partner with our client, supporting designs for new and existing constructionbuilds.

The Design Project Manager should have an architectural background in theconstructionindustry and be experienced in Design/Architecture/Civil works.

Responsibilities

• Provides support and reports to the assigned Project Manager(s) or Project Director. Position has frequent interaction with the Owner/Client, consultants, design professionals andcontractors.
• Directly assist the Project Manager(s) in managing, coordinating and administering the project through all phases of design andconstruction.
• Responsible for ensuring all aspects of client services are delivered at the highest level to ensure the client’s needs are addressed.
• Aids in the preparation of documents (reports,schedules, invoices,RFI’s,submittals, meeting minutes/agendas, daily reports,changeorders, inspections,closeoutand client presentations) for programming, design andconstructionand will assist in maintaining information in project management software.
• Coordinate toschedulemeetings with the project team as directed by the Project Manager(s).
• Communicate conceptual designs and create/maintain project documentation before, during, and afterconstruction.
• Maintenance of Basis of Design, prototype design, and template specifications for architectural elements.
• Review and inform design RFPs.
• Manage our external design consultants through the design andconstructionprocess.
• Effectively communicate design standards to internal and external project partners.
• Manage multiple fast paced projects simultaneously.
• Think outside of the box to find innovative solutions prior to and during theconstructionprocess to reducecostswithout negative impacts on quality or reliability.

Qualifications

• College Degree in Business Administration,ConstructionManagement, Engineering, Architecture.
• Experience and working in Project Management on large-scaleconstructionprograms.
• Experienced in Design/Architecture/Civil works.
• Solid working proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent presentation skills and the ability to be highly effective in a client facing role.
• Team player; ability to work collaboratively.
