Gen is seeking a Design Operations Lead to support the day-to-day operations of its global product design organisation. You will work with product designers, researchers, design leaders, and cross-functional partners to improve workflows, tools, and systems that help teams do their best work.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in design operations or related role.
• Experience supporting design, research, product teams in a complex organisation.
• Experience improving workflows, planning cadences and documentation.
• Experience with modern design and delivery tools (Figma, JIRA, ClaudeCode).

Responsibilities

• Drive and facilitate core planning and collaboration cadences, including sprint planning, milestone reviews, retrospectives, and design critiques
• Identify and implement workflow and process improvements, including automation, documentation, and tooling strategies that improve visibility and reduce friction
• Partner with design leads to create clear timelines, milestone plans, and delivery checkpoints that support accountability and informed decision-making
• Own and evolve project-tracking systems such as JIRA and Figma ensuring they remain useful, current, and aligned to team needs
• Maintain team documentation, briefs, review records, and other operational resources so that information is easy to find and act on
• Create structure around design handoffs, stakeholder reviews, and team rituals to empower designers and improve cross-functional collaboration
• Support continuous improvement through feedback loops, retrospective facilitation, and structured iteration on processes and ways of working
