Job summary

JobsTrackR in London is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to own a portfolio and drive new product development in a hybrid role combining hands‑on design and technical problem solving.

You will create 3D CAD models, perform analyses, support validation and design reviews, and mentor other engineers while collaborating with manufacturing, quality and commercial teams to improve performance, cost and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience with mechanical/electromechanical products in safety-critical environments.
• Strong knowledge of materials, tolerancing, and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Own technical ownership across portfolio incl. improvements and new development.
• Create CAD models, drawings, BOMs; perform analyses and testing.
• Support validation, design reviews and lifecycle activities.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and commercial teams.
