Job summary

Tulane University is seeking a Teaching Assistant for ARCH 6311 Design Media (grad) to support new M. Arch students in developing critical design skills. The TA will work with the instructor to gain teaching experience through classroom instruction and independent preparation.

Proficiency in Rhino and Adobe CC is required; photography and physical model-making skills are a plus. Preference given to grads who completed the course or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Rhino and Adobe CC.
• Photography and physical model-making skills are a plus.
• Preference for graduate students who completed ARCH 6311 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Attend all class sessions (Tu/Th, 11:00am - 12:15pm).
• Lead workshops introducing software skills to first-year M. Arch students.
• Provide in-class guidance and skill sharing.
• Participate in discussions.
• Hold weekly office hours.
• Handle administrative tasks as needed.
