Job summary

PurposeBuilt Brands seeks a Design Manager to lead HomeShine Studios, the in-house creative team behind breakthrough packaging and brand communications for its consumer brands.

You will mentor designers, guide packaging and shopper marketing projects from concept to print-ready files, and collaborate with marketing to ensure brand consistency while advancing AI-enabled creative workflows.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of graphic design experience with packaging focus.
• 1–2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Strong portfolio including packaging and shopper marketing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Knowledge of packaging design principles, printing processes, and production best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of designers.
• Conceptualize, design and execute across campaigns and projects.
• Uphold high standards of quality and attention to detail.
• Oversee packaging, in-store displays, and branding execution.
• Collaborate with marketing to communicate brand message and product features.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and tools including AI.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with high creativity.
• Ensure brand consistency across all deliverables.
• Translate concepts into print-ready files.
• Build relationships with creative partners and internal stakeholders.
• Handoff concepts smoothly between creative and production.
