Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group in London is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead the design process from pre-construction through project delivery for complex education and public sector projects. You will manage technical drawings, coordinate with subcontractors and consultants, and drive digital construction and sustainability requirements to deliver compliant, cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Design Management role within the construction industry.
• Experience with BIM processes and requirements, ideally including Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the design process from pre-construction through to project delivery, ensuring technically compliant, cost-effective and coordinated design solutions.
• Lead and manage digital construction and sustainability requirements across projects.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants and wider design teams to deliver high-quality design information.
• Produce regular internal and external progress reports and manage design programmes.
• Review designs for technical completeness and buildability, and develop consultant scopes of service.
