Job summary

The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company seeks a Design Management support role under the guidance of a Design Manager. You’ll help balance design and build, facilitate integrated workflows, and assist with proposal development and presentation prep.

Responsibilities include aiding the A/E through programming and constructability reviews, attending site walks, and supporting design teams during construction to ensure close-out commitments are met.

Qualifications

• College Degree: Architecture or similar design major (Interior Design, Architectural Engineering, etc.).
• Courses in construction management, estimating, scheduling, and project controls are recommended but not required.
• Exposure to design in a professional setting is recommended but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support Whiting-Turner Design Manager with group and project-specific responsibilities.
• Assist with design review, meetings, and monitoring the Design Decisions Log.
• Help with updating and maintaining WT Design Management tools and resources.
