The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company invites a Design Management Intern to join our Towson office. Under the guidance of a Design Manager, you will support design and construction activities, facilitate collaboration, attend meetings, and help develop project narratives and visuals.

You will gain exposure to programming, code reviews, constructability, value engineering ideas, and our design management tools, while observing safe practices and professional conduct on a live project site.

Qualifications

• Student in architecture or engineering pursuing relevant degree.
• Exposure to construction processes and project delivery methods is a plus.
• Interest in design management and coordination with teams.

Responsibilities

• Support Design Manager with group and project-specific tasks.
• Assist with programming, code reviews, and constructability assessments.
• Help prepare presentations and proposals.
• Attend construction meetings and site walks with the design team.
• Maintain design management tools and resources.
