The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company is seeking a Design Manager-in-Training to support the Design Manager with group and project-specific responsibilities in a fast-paced construction environment. You will champion innovation, aid in proposal development with narratives and graphics, and participate in design reviews and log maintenance.

You will attend presentations, assist with programming and constructability reviews, and support design teams through planning, meetings, and site walks.

Qualificações

• College Degree: Architecture or similar design major (Interior Design, Architectural Engineering, etc.)
• General coursework in construction management, estimating, scheduling, and project controls
• Exposure to design in a professional setting recommended but not required
• Experience within architecture/interior design or general contracting environments encouraged
• Interest in design management, contracts, cost, and scheduling

Responsabilidades

• Support Whiting-Turner Design Manager with group and project-specific responsibilities
• Champion innovation and deliver the best possible project within constraints
• Support proposal development with narratives, visuals, and graphics
• Attend presentations and develop presentation skills
• Assist with programming, code reviews, and constructability for A/E
• Assist with design review meetings and the Design Decisions Log
• Track follow-up items for A/E team and stakeholders
• Attend construction meetings and site walks with the design team
• Help maintain WT Design Management tools and resources
• Assist with design team networking and selection
